Terms for using Tendline.
Effective 6 November 2026. If this page changes in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders before the change applies.
Tendline is a product of SovNode AI LLC (“we”), offered in the United States. By creating an account or connecting a camera you agree to these terms and to the privacy page.
What Tendline is, and isn’t
Tendline reads still frames and events from cameras you connect, checks them against the routines you write and Watch, and tells the people you choose what it saw and what didn’t happen.
It is information, not protection. Tendline is not an alarm, a monitoring service or an emergency service. It doesn’t contact the police or anyone you didn’t choose. In an emergency, call 911.
Readings can be wrong. Descriptions of frames are made automatically and can miss things or describe them wrongly, especially at night, at a distance or when a camera is blocked. Tendline says “couldn’t confirm” when a camera couldn’t see, but it can still be wrong when a camera could. Don’t rely on Tendline alone where a miss could lead to harm.
It never identifies people. Tendline describes people by role and what they’re doing. It doesn’t recognize faces, read plates, listen to audio, or match anyone against any list.
Your responsibilities
Cameras you’re entitled to use. Only connect cameras you own or have permission to use, and use them lawfully. Recording and notice laws differ from place to place; for example, some places require telling guests, workers or tenants about cameras. That’s your responsibility.
People you add. Only add people who agreed to get alerts from you. A parent’s home needs that parent’s agreement.
No misuse. Don’t use Tendline to harass, stalk, track or discriminate against anyone, to watch places you have no right to watch, or to try to identify people. Don’t share proof pages to shame or accuse anyone. Report misuse to admin1@sovnode.ai.
Your account. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can open your sign-in emails can open your account. Treat push URLs, API keys and calendar links like passwords.
Plans, trials and cancelling
Free features are free. Paid plans and add-ons are monthly (and annual where offered) at the prices on the plans page. Prices can change with at least 30 days’ notice by email; the change applies from your next billing period.
If you subscribe through the Ring app, Ring handles billing, renewals and cancelling under Ring’s terms. If you subscribe on this site, you can cancel any time from Settings; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Trials end on the date shown in the app. A trial turns into a paid plan only if you choose to subscribe.
Your data
Your frames, notes and routines are yours. We use them only to run Tendline for you, keep them for the times on the Principles page, and delete everything when you delete your account in Settings, or within 30 days of an emailed request. When you remove Tendline in the Ring app, everything that came from Ring is deleted. We don’t sell your data or use it to train anyone’s models.
Our limits
Tendline is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every event will be seen. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses caused by a missed, late or wrong alert or reading, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may suspend or close accounts used against these terms. You can stop using Tendline at any time.
