Who it’s for / A parent’s home
A morning check on a parent’s home, with their say-so.
“Tell me if Mom’s front door hasn’t opened by 11.” Tendline checks her porch camera, sends one check-in to you and your siblings, and is honest when the camera couldn’t see.
A week at Mom’s, at a glance
Most mornings the check-in is a single line: the door opened at 8:12, the home help came and went. You don’t have to ring to ask, and she doesn’t have to report in.
On Thursday the porch camera dropped off for an hour and a half. Tendline didn’t pretend to know. It said it couldn’t confirm, and why, and nobody was woken up over a dead Wi-Fi router.

- Couldn’t confirmThursday: porch camera offline 10:12–11:40 AM. Door seen opening at 11:47.
- Visits seenHome help Mon and Thu mornings; visitors Tue and Sat afternoons
Shared with the people who’d want to know
The daily check-in goes to a family group you choose. If something needs attention, it goes to one person first, and passes to the next if nobody taps Seen. No group chat of fifteen people all wondering who’s calling.

The porch camera could see the door all morning. Sam was told at 11:00 and hasn’t seen this yet, so it’s come to you.

Routines families write
Keep them few and specific. A good family routine is one you’d otherwise phone to check.

With their say-so, and within limits
Family is for a parent who has agreed to it. Set it up together: show them which camera it reads, what it checks and who hears. Tendline never recognizes faces or listens, and it describes visitors by role, not name.
A door that didn’t open is a reason to call, not a diagnosis. Tendline can tell you the door opened, or didn’t. It can’t tell you someone is all right.
Not a medical alert or an emergency service. If you think someone needs help, call them, and if it’s an emergency, call 911.
